Code Compliance Solutions

From violation to sign-off.

Open violations and code issues block sales, insurance and peace of mind. We correct electrical code problems and document the work so you get clean sign-off.

The detail

An open electrical violation can stall a home sale, hold up a certificate of occupancy, or get an insurance policy cancelled. We correct code issues — grounding and bonding, overloaded or unsafe panels, missing GFCI/AFCI protection, improper junctions, DIY work gone wrong — and document the repairs so the inspector and the underwriter both sign off.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Can a homeowner do their own electrical work in Delaware?

Delaware limits homeowner electrical work and, since 2023, generally requires permitted work to be plan-reviewed through a licensed inspection agency. Some work (like pools and hot tubs) isn’t eligible for a homeowner permit at all. When the work has to pass inspection or satisfy an insurer, a licensed electrician is the safe path.

Do I need a permit for electrical work in Delaware?

Most circuit-level and service work does. In Delaware, permitted electrical work is plan-reviewed and inspected through a licensed third-party inspection agency, with permits issued by your county or city. We pull permits and coordinate inspection on the work we do.

You found violations on a home inspection — can you fix and document them?

Yes. We correct the items, bring them up to current code, and give you written documentation for the buyer, the inspector, and the insurer so the deal can close.
